St Eds is holding a Parent/Carers Evening:

Date: Wednesday 11th November 2026

Time: 3.00pm-5.00pm

Venue: St Eds, Oak Street, NR3 3BP

This evening is an opportunity to meet with your child’s lead tutor for a 15-minute discussion about their progress, celebrate what is going well and identify any areas where improvements or additional support may be needed.

Where concerns arise, addressing these early can make a real difference to helping students get back on track and achieve their full potential.

We strongly encourage all parents and carers to book an appointment and work in partnership with us to give their child the best possible chance of success.

Appointments are now open to book and will close at midday on 4 November 2026. Please book before the deadline to secure your 15-minute slot.

Jon Battrick-Newall Managing Director of British Mouldings kindly invited Karl our Plastering tutor to visit their premises.

Karl spent a couple of hours there learning about how they produce fibrous plasterwork and getting an insight into their processes.

They were also very generous in donating a number of materials and resources for our students, including some silicone moulds, two bags of fibrous plaster, wooden lath and hessian. A couple of students have now had the opportunity to use some of these materials as part of the unit, and I have taken photographs of their work.

Our New Students Are Settling In!

Our new students who joined us in September have made a fantastic start at St-Eds! They have settled in really well, getting stuck into practical sessions across all of our departments.

We’ve been really impressed with how quickly everyone has found their feet, made new friends and got involved in college life.

Here’s a look at some of the fantastic work they’ve been getting up to so far!

A huge thank you to Busseys Norwich for the donation of a lovely white VW Polo, our Mechanics students didn’t take long to get it onto the ramp and start working on it.

We love our relationship with Busseys, they have been continually supporting us for a few years now 😊

Aspect Group Service’s have been supporting St-Eds for some time now, and we are extremely grateful to them!!

Not only did they build an outside seating area for our students in Spring 2025 , they have spent weeks building in our basement a new Maths Classroom and 3 other rooms for 121’s and storage. 🧱🪚

From planning to building they have been part of the project from day one, lending us their highly skilled workers to complete the builds to a very high standard! 💪

As a charity we are so super grateful for their donated time, expertise and advise 😁
