Conference Update – Stuart Rimmer, Principal of East Coast College

    By St Eds,

    9th February 2018
With just two weeks until our Alternative Provision: Pathways to Excellence Conference it is about time that we introduce our last (but certainly not least) speaker, Stuart Rimmer, to our delegates.

Stuart started his working life at a textiles manufacturer, working his way up to running the company’s sales team before moving into a career in the financial services industry.

Since then he has achieved a Master’s degree in Enterprise Management and an MBA. Stuart also runs his own coaching company, working with managers of small and medium-sized businesses to improve performance.

Stuart moved to East Anglia 4 years ago to take the role of CEO at Great Yarmouth College. However, he now also serves on the New Anglia LEP Skills Board and on Enterprise GY, GY Chamber of Commerce and national portfolio groups at Association of Colleges. Whilst he currently leads a project with Eastern Region Colleges (ACER) on wellbeing in Further Education and comments nationally on issues relating to wellbeing and mental health in education.

St-Eds is very excited to hear from Stuart, along with all of our other guest speakers and workshop holders, and would like to thank everyone in advance for your efforts in bringing the conference together. If you are yet to get your tickets then they are still up for sale on our EventBrite page, here.
