An amazing evening celebrating the successes of our students

Wednesday 23rd July 2025 we celebrated the achievements of our students at Epic Studios Norwich.

We had a huge turn out including parents, carers, friends, local business, funders, and supporters. We were concerned we wouldn’t fill the room but with 300 attendees, the room was packed and the atmosphere was amazing.

Congratulations to all those that achieved and especially to those that were awarded Student of The Year Awards.

A special thank you goes to our supporters that helped to fund the event. Grayson Ltd, Lignacite, Bookers, Busseys, Towergate Insurance, NFCI, George Clark.

Imagine Spa in Hethersett

A few of St-Eds Hair and Beauty student’s were lucky enough to be able to visit The Imagine Spa in Hethersett recently.

St- Eds had managed to raise funds by having a raffle which enabled us to provide a valuable enrichment activity for the students, they not only got to see what of the day to day running of a spa consisted of, but also as a special treat they got to enjoy the perks of the spa facilities and even getting to experience a head massage.

New Outside Area

St-Eds always struggled with outside areas due to the constraints of the building and car park. We decided we needed some outside space for our students to get some fresh air and eat their lunch. We put in for a grant for Tesco Stronger Starts and were lucky enough to receive £500, unfortunately though this wasn’t enough to make the lunch area.

We put a shout out on social media and Aspect Group Services got in touch to say they would like to help 💙 With their contacts in the trade, they managed to get all the materials needed, these were donated by Lee the manager of a local branch of Travis Perkins. Aspect provided all the labour to complete the works, which left the £500 from Tescos for us to purchase some tables, chairs and plants. This truly was a collaboration of local support, thank you Aspect Group Services, Travis Perkins and Tesco.

John Gorman Visit

John Gorman owner of Brick renovation and restoration | Herts Renovation | Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Essex, Suffolk and London and Master Brick Mason, has been supporting St-Eds with materials, equipment and hugely valuable knowledge, that he has gained over his long career John visited us a few times over the last few months and even spent some time with out students giving them some expert advice. John is a member of the Worshipful Company of Tylers and Bricklayers. John donated a Pan Mixer to our Bricks department along with some exciting bricks and flints, to help our students with their enrichment projects. Thank you John, we really appreciate your support 💙
