    Small Charity Week

    By St Eds,

    19th June 2018
    Small Charity Week

It is the beginning of Small Charity Week (18th-23rd June).

Small Charity Week were set-up by the Foundation for Social Improvement (FSI) in 2010 to celebrate and raise the profile of the small charity sector. This week is organised with a series of activities to support and raise awareness of the hundreds and thousands of small charities that make a huge difference every day to vulnerable communities across the UK and the rest of the world.

The objectives of Small Charity Week are to:

    ·         Celebrate the contribution that small charities make to communities throughout the UK and across the world

    ·         Improve the knowledge, representation and sustainability of small charities

    ·         Highlight the work of the small charity sector to the broadest possible audience

    ·         Encourage public giving

    ·         Work with the small charity sector to develop political engagement at a national and local level

This is a good opportunity to reach out and find some key corporate sponsors. If you would like to sponsor or even just support local charity and training provider, St Edmunds Society, please get in touch. There are always options for sponsorship!

Continue promoting and engaging with your local small charities, they are what keep the clogs turning!
