The planning, design, construction and maintenance of the built environment requires highly skilled and creative individuals. St-Eds Training Centre provides the knowledge, skills and opportunity to become that person.
The Multi-Skilled Construction Course teaches students how the construction industry works, introducing them to the skills and knowledge required to achieve a successful and well paid career in this dynamic sector.
This broad-skills course covers training in carpentry, bricklaying, painting and decorating, plumbing and tiling. Students learn about the construction process from start to finish. And by working closely with our partner employers and sponsors, they get the opportunity to apply newly-learned skills to real projects.
The Multi-Skilled Construction Course provides a springboard to those wishing to work as a traditional tradesperson/craftsperson, or those seeking employment within the planning, management or development of the built environment.
“I love when my students have gained the practical skills and knowledge to complete tasks with competence and initiative. This shows they have grown in self-esteem and gained confidence in their abilities. It allows them to complete their assessments to a high standard”.
